Batting

Quilt batting (or wadding) is the fluffy middle layer of a "quilt sandwich," positioned between the top fabric and the backing to provide insulation, warmth, and loft (thickness). Commonly made from cotton, polyester, wool, or bamboo, it determines the quilt's weight, drape, and texture
