Hi all!
Happy International Day of RURAL WOMEN! Thank you for your critical role in producing food, contributing to food security in this country, and the world!
Growing up (in cities), I was always enamored of pioneer women who "settled the west". I read lots of books on the subject and was intriqued by the grand picnics, festivals, house parties & dances, despite their lives of everyday hardship. Girls have always known how to party!
Welcome LIPSTICK COWGIRL from Moda! COLLAGE is hot! I just love this fabric reproduction of Shari Jenkins' original artwork! BRIGHT, colorful, clever & funny.
I just had to find out more about the artist, Shari Jenkins. It turns out, "Born at a very young age, collage artist Shari Jenkins Schmit was kidnapped by coyotes and raised on a ranch near the Bear Paw Mountains southeast of Big Sandy, Montana." I think we could be friends! hahahaha See more on Shari at her website.
There are great fabrics to coordinate with this panel. It plays well with many other designer fabrics we currently have in stock too. Surely LIPSTICK COWGIRL will stoke your CREATIVITY!
I am particularly enamored with these OMBRES! These are 45" wide, right to left.
