Hi all!

Happy "middle of July"! We're in the middle of our family's "birthday festival". Be sure to read all the way to the end.

This is one of my favorite parts of summer - SWEET CORN and PEACHES! Oh yum!

Of course, along with the fruits & veggies, I love a bit of cake, especially "birthday cake".

Let us eat cake! ;)

The Secret to Quilting Naked This Summer?

Hi all!

This is really summer! Too hot for clothes! But quilts? Never! Just bare it all and sew quilts naked! LOL

Now that I've truly amused myself let's make plans to get lots of quilt-making done this summer!

Since you need to be chill and get to sewing , maybe delegate someone to check the ac filter? ;)

Looking ahead to fall, Mary has announced that starting in September, she will be teaching another SAMPLER QUILT CLASS, guiding students through MINERAL MATRIX.

This quilt uses only 10 fabrics.

We will offer kits, coming soon, but encourage you to make your own selections. We're tickled to help! That's what we love to do!

While the exact batik fabric shown here is no longer available, there are plenty of beauties to choose from!

Hi all!

Kirsten & I were in Kansas City last week for the regional quilt show. Technically, Overland Park at the convention center.

We had so much fun.

We were joined by my daughter Lily who lives there and my sister Eleanor who flew in from Florida.

They were a great help!

We met lots of you, and if this is your first newsletter, welcome!

My latest quilt made with NATURAL WOVEN COTTON from Fableism was a huge hit.
